Here in Victoria we are fortunate enough to partake in a host of amazing events and last weekend’s wine festival was a good example of how this city likes to celebrate life. In the midst of the excitement over Will and Kate’s visit to our beautiful city, the Victoria International Wine Festival was sharing some of the world’s best wines.
Held at the Parkside Hotel, this venue offered plenty of room to visit the various wine stations where you could sample wines and speak with representatives from the wineries. Vessel Liquor Store was open throughout the event, making it easy for guests to purchase their favourite selections.
There were tasty cheese and meat samples to accompany the wine tasting, thanks to the Dairy Farmers of Canada. The wine festival also offered several seminars ranging from wine and cheese pairing to a guide to buying wine.Peter Wille, Director of Sales for Quails’ Gate winery, shares some of the new wines from their Lake Sonoma Winery in California.
