Celebrated BC restaurant group, Moments Hospitality Collective is partnering with Le Vieux Pin to release a limited-edition rosé, “A Moment in Time,” available at all Moments locations. The wine highlights BC winemaking, local collaboration and the province’s agricultural strength.
In collaboration with Oliver-based Enotecca Wineries, the project reflects a shared focus on local partnerships and innovation. “A Moment in Time” will be available at Water Street Cafe, Nanoose Bay Cafe, Qualicum Beach Cafe, Greenview Taphouse, and Deez Bar & Grill, offered by the glass ($12.50) or bottle ($34.95), while quantities last.
“Our purpose is to showcase local suppliers and highlight the talent and craftsmanship found here in BC,” says Eli Brennan, founder of Moments Hospitality Collective.
“A Moment in Time” is a blend of 70 per cent pinot noir and 30 per cent cabernet franc, crafted from estate-grown fruit in the Okanagan and bottled in Vancouver at Enotecca Wineries. The wine reflects both place and process, shaped by the landscapes and hands behind it.
To finalize the blend, representatives from each Moments location gathered at Water Street Cafe for a collaborative tasting, bringing together a range of perspectives and palates in a shared moment of creation.
WINEMAKER DINNERS
The release will be marked by two BC Winemaker Dinners, where the wine will be introduced through four-course tasting menus with pairings led by Séverine Pinte, winemaker, viticulturist, and managing partner of Le Vieux Pin.
The dinners will take place April 15 at Nanoose Bay Cafe and April 16 at Water Street Cafe, beginning at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $149 plus tax and gratuity and are available online at https://www.momentshospitality.com/amomentintime.
