Getaway, Australia’s most beloved and number one travel series, is coming to Canada, showcasing stunning, dream-worthy destinations in partnership with Scenic Luxury Cruises & Tours and Emerald Cruises. Since its debut in 1992, the series has captivated audiences with unrivaled locations, inspiring travel ideas, and insights into the world’s most unique wonders. Airing on Bell Media’s CTV Life Channel and CTV Nature Channel, and streaming exclusively on CTV.ca and the CTV app, Getaway will take Canadian viewers on four extraordinary journeys across eight episodes, as they explore some of the world’s most pristine and remote natural marvels.

- Episode 1 & 2: Getaway to Antarctica – Australian documentary producer and director, Tina Dalton, sets off on a breathtaking Scenic Eclipse expedition to the icy wonderland of Antarctica, where picturesque landscapes and incredible wildlife encounters await. Her journey continues across the Southern Ocean to South Georgia, home to one of the most incredible natural habitats on the planet. She then concludes her voyage with a visit to the remote Falkland Islands, exploring their rugged beauty and diverse ecosystem.
- Episode 3 & 4: Getaway to the Caribbean – Set sail aboard Emerald Sakara with former Australian Survivor champion, David Genet, for an unforgettable journey through the Caribbean’s most breathtaking islands. From Antigua to Martinique, St. Lucia to the Grenadines, experience crystal-clear waters, pristine beaches, and vibrant island culture. The adventure continues with David stopping in Guadeloupe, St. Kitts and Nevis, and the ultra-chic St. Barts.
- Episode 5 & 6: Getaway to the Arctic – Getaway’s longtime host, Catriona Rowntree, embarks on a memorable Arctic expedition aboard Scenic Eclipse. Her journey begins in Norway’s remote Svalbard archipelago, before venturing to Greenland, the world’s largest island. The adventure continues as she sails through the breathtaking Arctic Islands, culminating in the dramatic landscapes of Iceland, the land of fire and ice.
- Episode 7 & 8: Getaway to Bordeaux – Popular Australian Chef, Poh Ling Yeow joins the Getaway team for a culinary cruise through the stunning Bordeaux region of France, immersing herself in its world-class wines, exquisite cuisine, and rich culture. From vineyard visits to local delicacies, she explores the flavours and traditions that make Bordeaux a true food and wine lover’s paradise.
