GLENFIDDICH ENTERS A BOLD NEW VISUAL ERA, REDEFINING THE ICON OF SINGLE MALT

Glenfiddich, the world’s most awarded single malt Scotch whisky, unveils a bold new visual identity that marks the next chapter in its story. With one eye on the past and the other fixed on future innovation, Glenfiddich’s new design intertwines the brand’s rich 139-year legacy with a timeless modernity, drawing on resurfaced icons from the Glenfiddich family archive spanning more than five generations.

Crafted for a contemporary audience, Glenfiddich’s new identity refines the brand’s iconic visual elements, drawing inspiration from the pioneering releases of the 1960s, when Glenfiddich helped establish Single Malt Scotch Whisky as an international spirits category.

Glenfiddich’s iconic stag, originally inspired by Sir Edwin Landseer’s 1851 painting The Monarch of the Glen, has been reimagined with greater depth and movement, capturing the landscape of Speyside while reflecting the character of the whisky itself. Framed by Glenfiddich’s founding year of 1887, it sits alongside a reworked wordmark that balances modern clarify with a nod to classic British type design that first appeared on Glenfiddich bottles in the 1960s. From label architecture to embossed detailing, each refreshed element has been thoughtfully elevated to convey Glenfiddich’s heritage, bold character, and forward thinking.

Still proudly family-owned, the pioneering vision of William Grant continues to guide and shape Glenfiddich today. The reworked Grant Family Crest, elevated and embossed within the new packaging, features the motto “Stand Fast,” reinforcing the family’s enduring custodianship, honouring the people, place and craft that define Glenfiddich.

The same commitment extends beyond Glenfiddich’s design. Distilled in Speyside using the pristine waters of the Robbie Dhu spring since 1887, the whisky remains true to its distinctive house style. From the vision of William Grant, Glenfiddich distillery’s first Malt Master, to today’s Malt Master Brian Kinsman, generations of craftsmanship and innovation continue to guide the distillery today.

“Innovation has always been part of Glenfiddich’s DNA. The distillery was founded by people who weren’t afraid to take risks, and that spirit still guides us today. It remains a driving force behind Glenfiddich’s status as the world’s most awarded Single Malt Scotch Whisky,” comments Brian Kinsman, Glenfiddich Malt Master. “As Glenfiddich looks to the future with new cask finishes, maturation techniques and collaborations that challenge perceptions of single malt, the brand remains rooted in continuity, with deep respect for what has come before.”

While the design evolves, the whisky remains unchanged. Distilled in copper pot stills in Speyside and matured in carefully selected oak casks, Glenfiddich continues with an unwavering commitment to excellence. This visual evolution reflects the innovation and enduring craft for the future, grounded in a legacy that has defined Glenfiddich for over 135 years.

Canadians can expect to see the new visuals begin hitting shelves in Spring 2026.
