Bike to Work Week – Greater Victoria

May 25th to 31st, 2015

1670

Total Riders: 5,155 – 714 teams!

The Greater Victoria Bike to Work Week creates opportunities to bring old and new riders together peppering the week with free community events.

Each year participants look forward to the event Launch, Commuter Challenge and our many Celebration Stations.  These fun events reward those cyclists new to commuter cycling – 12,500 since inception – and are purposefully placed to encourage the exploration of the cycling infrastructure system available throughout Greater Victoria while also acknowledging the ‘regulars’ of the routes.

About the Greater Victoria Bike to Work Week Society:

We are a registered non-profit society governed by a volunteer board of directors whose mandate is to encourage and promote the use of the bicycle as a viable form of transportation. We accomplish this by organizing the province’s largest annual Bike to Work Week event and teaching Bike Skills courses to children and adults.
