1. Victoria Pie Co. Bake Off – FREE admission

Thursday June 4th and June 5th at the Victoria Public Market at the Hudson – 7pm-8:30pm

First bake off in support of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Victoria. All pies made at the event will be donated to BBBS Victoria’s annual Match Appreciation Picnic taking place June 6th.

2. Gold Rush El Dorado in BC at the Royal BC Museum

June 2, 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Tickets are $15 per person, 10% member discount.

– BC Gold Rush Fact Fest
June 13, 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Tickets are $15, 10% member discount.

– Summer Camps: Gold Rush!
July 6-10 / July 20-24 / July 27-31 / Aug. 10-14 / Aug. 17-21.
Camps run 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. Ages 7 to 11.
$244 per person, 10% member discount. Before and after care available for an additional charge.

– Gold Fever Trail Walking Tour
July 11, July 25, Aug. 8, and Aug. 22
10:30 a.m. – noon. Tickets are $15 per person, per tour. 10% member discount.

– Gold-themed Wonder Sunday
Sept. 28, 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. FREE with Museum admission or membership.

3. Oak Bay Tea Party – June 6th and 7th at Willows Beach 

7am to 9pm on Saturday and Sunday

This annual event on Willows Beach in Victoria is the perfect attraction for family and friends to enjoy the seaside with entertainment, rides and a parade. This will the the 53rd year running.

4. 4th Annual Goddess Run – June 7th

The 4th Annual Victoria Goddess Run is a 5K, 10K and Half Marathon on Sunday, June 7, 2015. The weekend of activities include a Women’s Expo at the Westin Bear Mountain, Yoga at Sunset, Bathrobe Run and Kids Run. Over $100,000 has been raised for our three local charities – Victoria Women’s Transition House, Victoria Sexual Assault Centre and Kidsport – Active Girls Program.

5. World Oceans Day at Fisherman’s Wharf- June 7th

This event runs from 11am to 5pm with FREE admission

1 Dallas Road Victoria, BC V8V 0B2

This family event aims to educate the public about the different ways of caring for our ocean. People of all ages will be able to interact with different ocean conservation organizations. Some activities include a scavenger hunt, underwater cameras, touch tanks and displays from Fish Eye Project, Oceans Network Canada, Ocean Wise, Robert Bateman Centre, Royal BC Museum, Greater Victoria Harbour Authority and among others.

This event is a fundraising effort for the deployment of an artificial reef—reef balls & a herring spawning project for the inner harbour of Victoria, BC.

6. YYJ EATS – June 9th at Market Square

560 Johnson Street Victoria, BC V8W 3C6 5pm-7pm

Tickets are $50 which includes 10 tasting tickets. Additional tasting tickets will be on sale at the event. Please note this is 19+ event (minors are not permitted to attend YYJ Eats).

Once you purchase your YYJ Eats ticket, you’ll be automatically entered to win over $400 in gift certificates from the participating restaurants.

YYJ Eats is Victoria’s newest food festival brought to you by The Chamber. Come experience an exciting variety of gourmet food samples, local wine, craft beers and specialty cocktails created and presented by some of Victoria’s most popular restaurants, breweries and wineries.
