15

HGTV’s Sarah Baeumler headlines a roster that blends national personalities with trusted local pros, plus live cooking demos from three Top Chef Canada alums.

If you’re planning a renovation, refresh, or just love soaking up design inspiration, the Vancouver Fall Home Show is shaping up to be worth the trip across the water this October. Organizer Marketplace Events has just rounded out its presenter roster, building on the earlier announcement that HGTV Canada favourite Sarah Baeumler will anchor this year’s Main Stage.

When and Where

The show takes over the Vancouver Convention Centre–West for four days, October 15–18. Now in its 44th year, it’s billed as the best-attended fall home show in North America — and this year’s lineup gives visitors plenty of reasons to make the trip, from full-scale renovation advice to quick seasonal refresh ideas.

Meet the Main Stage Headliner

Sarah Baeumler takes the Sleep Country Main Stage, presented by the Vancouver Sun, twice during the run:

  • Thursday, October 15 at 6 p.m.
  • Friday, October 16 at 2 p.m.

The Rest of the Design Lineup

Joining Baeumler are several Show veterans bringing hands-on renovation and design expertise:

  • Graeme Huguet of My House Design/Build
  • Chef Bruno Feldeisen, familiar to fans of CBC’s Great Canadian Baking Show
  • Trish Picariello of Cloverdale Paint
  • Craig Nygard of Structure Defence

Cooking Stage Gets a Top Chef Canada Boost

Food lovers have plenty to look forward to as well. This year’s Cooking Stage welcomes three familiar faces from Top Chef Canada:

  • Chef Dez Lo — Season 10 Runner-Up
  • Chef Haan Palcu-Chang — Season 11 Finalist
  • Chef Billy Nguyen — Season 9 Runner-Up

“We are so excited to continue to bring such an exceptional roster of talent to our Vancouver Shows,” said Amber Beaton, Show Manager for Marketplace Events. “Anchored by the incredible Sarah Baeumler, our lineup blends beloved national personalities with top local experts to give attendees actionable inspiration for both home projects and culinary creations.”

Why It’s Worth the Trip

Between renovation know-how, paint and design advice, and live cooking demonstrations, the Vancouver Fall Home Show offers something for homeowners at any stage of a project — whether you’re tackling a full reno or just looking for fresh ideas for the season ahead.
