Fairmont Empress invites you to spread holiday cheer this season by sharing an expression of affection under its new twinkling mistletoe installation. ‘Meet Me Under the Mistletoe’ is on display in the exterior courtyard next to the hotel’s reception lobby for the month of December.
‘Meet Me Under the Mistletoe’ welcomes locals and guests to celebrate the timeless tradition of sharing a moment of merriment beneath an embellished mistletoe. A massive canopy of green foliage interwoven with white lights elegantly suspends in an outdoor archway, setting the backdrop for a picture perfect moment in Victoria. The centerpiece serves as a focal point for guests to capture the magic of the holidays.
People are encouraged to visit and take photos of themselves and their loved ones, including pets, under the mistletoe. For those who would like an opportunity to win a two-night stay on Fairmont Gold at Fairmont Empress, simply share your photos on social media and tag the hotel. To officially participate in the contest, individuals must post their photos on Instagram or Facebook, tag the hotel, and use the hashtag #MistletoeMoments.
“We are looking to ignite community spirit this holiday season by inviting hotel guests and local residents to partake in this festive activation,” said General Manager Dan McGowan. “This is a time of the year where we want everyone to come together, share joy, and spread the warmth of the season. To enter the contest, an individual must publicly publish a photo on Facebook or Instagram and tag the hotel’s official social media accounts. In addition, they must use the mistletoe hashtag.
