Refract: The Seattle Glass Experience is less than a month away, celebrating its fifth year Oct. 12-15, 2023. The festival’s programming includes exclusive tours of Dale Chihuly’s private glassblowing studio called The Boathouse – rarely open to the public – as well as shuttle service to a number of local galleries in the area to bring guests up close to the art and artists that make Seattle the glass art hub of the U.S. Both of these experiences are free, but have limited space available. Registration opens tomorrow on RefractSeattle.org to secure spots on the Boathouse tour, while guests can reserve spots on the shuttle tour now by emailing Reservations@toursNW.com with name, cellphone number, and preferred date and time of the shuttle. The tour routes, times, and dates are available now on the website.
Also now available on the website are exclusive overnight packages for Refract getaways at top hotels throughout the region. Participating hotels include:
- Astra Hotel
- Grand Hyatt Seattle
- W Seattle
- Lotte Hotel Seattle
- Sheraton Grand Seattle
Package amenities vary by property, but include perks like complimentary bottles of wine, glass art-inspired appetizers, books on glass art, and 50% off tickets to Gather, the opening night celebration of Refract at Chihuly Garden and Glass.
More details of the festival’s exciting lineup and hotel packages can be found on the official website, RefractSeattle.org.
