Kids Ski Free and Closing Weekend Concert at Revelstoke Mountain Resort

25

Revelstoke Mountain Resort is entering the final stretch of its 2025-26 winter season with a month of family-friendly programming and celebrations, including March break camps and mid-week travel incentives, culminating in a closing weekend concert headlined by Canadian DJ, producer and artist Felix Cartal.

To make the most of the remaining ski season, RMR is offering its Kids Ski Free program for children aged 12 and under with the purchase of an adult lift ticket through April 12. Starting March 22, a Sunday to Thursday mid-week incentive will pair reduced lodging rates at The Sutton Place Hotel Revelstoke with half-price lift tickets for qualifying, two-night minimum stays.

Says Ryan Melnyk, Vice President, Commercial Strategy & Marketing with Northland Properties, “March brings longer daylight hours and a full schedule of programs and events on the mountain. Families and guests can ski in the morning, reset in the village and still have daylight left for après ski and live music.”

Throughout the month of March and into April, the resort’s programming shifts toward family travel and end-of-season events, with youth camps, travel incentives and an exciting closing weekend celebration to cap off an amazing winter season.

Family Programming on the Mountain

Revelstoke’s Mountain Sports School will host three- and five-day March Break camps for skiers and snowboarders aged 5 to 15. The camps provide small-group instruction focused on skill development and time on the mountain, allowing young skiers and riders to build confidence across a range of terrain.

Licensed on-mountain childcare is also available for children aged 18 months to 6 years. Located within the resort village, the program allows parents to spend time on the slopes while younger guests are cared for in a supervised environment.

Travel Incentives and Closing Weekend

Additional travel incentives are available throughout the remainder of the winter season. Ikon Pass holders can access 50 per cent off Friends & Family lift tickets, allowing passholders to bring guests to Revelstoke at a reduced rate with no blackout dates.

The 2025–26 season will conclude with a base-area closing weekend concert on April 12, 2026 headlined by Canadian DJ and producer Felix Cartal. The closing day après-ski event will take place at the base of Mount Mackenzie, bringing live music to the resort village as lifts stop spinning for the season.

Revelstoke Mountain Resort offers the most vertical in North America at 5,620 feet of lift-accessed terrain, with 3,121 acres of fall line skiing across alpine bowls, groomers and gladed zones. Across the group of companies that include RMR and Selkirk Tangiers Heli Skiing, skiers and snowboarders have access to more than 500,000 acres of terrain.
